SYNTHPAD · cork-board for LLM pastes

Pin every paste, name the model, and stitch the thread back together by hand.

Drop text from any large language model onto the corkboard. SYNTHPAD names the model from the paste itself in under 200 milliseconds, marks the card with a provenance badge, and offers a single keystroke to tie it to the conversation it belongs to.

Built for the writer who already keeps four chat tabs open. Mem stores. Reflect dates. Tana structures. SYNTHPAD recognises — it knows whether the paragraph you just dropped is in Claude's voice, ChatGPT's, Gemini's, or Llama's, and tags it without asking.

a four-card slice of a real session, with one red-yarn link

Three things SYNTHPAD does that nothing else does.

K1.10 · the moat

Cross-LLM thread reconstruction

Embeddings clustering merges fragments you pasted from ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini into a single coherent thread with provenance footnotes. The output is markdown you'd ship to a reviewer without rewriting.

K4.1 · the power-user shortcut

One palette, every command

Press ⌘K anywhere. Tag every Claude card. Export the selection as markdown. Find cards similar to the one in focus. No sidebar, no menu — just verbs.

K4.2 · the never-blocked guarantee

Optimistic with quiet auto-rollback

The card appears the instant you paste, with Tier 1+2 verdict in under 50 ms. If Tier 3 disagrees, the badge re-colors in place under a View-Transition — no reload, no jolt, no lost place.

How a session goes.

  1. I.

    You paste.

Hit ⌘V anywhere on the corkboard. A deckle-edge card lands at your cursor with a faint pin shadow.

  2. II.

    We name the model.

Tier 1 fingerprints in 5 ms, Tier 2 stylometric match in 40 ms, Tier 3 embedding fallback only if the first two disagree.

  3. III.

    You link.

If a related card exists, a ghost-yarn appears. Press L to make it permanent — or Esc to dismiss. The thread is yours, not ours.

Open a corkboard. Paste something. Watch the model name itself.

Nothing to install, nothing to sign in to, nothing to learn.
